Adding to the requirement and need for power supply for day to day activities, it is therefore a necessity to design the power system to maintain minimal technical losses in the network, because most of our system component lack sufficient reactive power ability, this mean that the penetration of distributed generation (DG) will give way to reduce the transmission and distribution system resources thereby increase the reliability and probably better the power quality at all time. Hence the objective of this work will investigate the need for improving the power system of distribution system via Distribution Generation (DG) on the view to:

Identify the existing state of the system buses in the network

To confirm how Distribution Generation installation affect the voltage stability or profile of the network.

To investigate the optimal placement of Distributed Generation on the network.
